Galerie Maryam Ahi is pleased to present its new exhibition with Mehdi Mirbagheri (born in 1980), a reference in the pop iranian art. Known for his playful and open approach to the digital art, as well as his characteristic line work and sense of composition, Mehdi’s work that embrace esthetic, provocation and history, recurrent techniques, finitions, and imagery that alludes to historical and contemporary forms. We are also pleased to present a new talented soul that gave the guide line of the new exhibition, Ramin Rostamzadeh (born in 1983). Super realistic touch, lots of joy in his way of creating, only uses oil medium on his work, a combination of tradition and modernity, Ramin’s works puts us in a past, present and future position which we have to play with. It was obvious that we wanted to reunify these two talented souls for this Fall 2024 exhibition and name it « Glory and History » a reference to the glorious past of the Qajar dynasty and the historical part of the Iranian culture.
