N° 1310 – The Battle of Faith

Mehdi Mirbagheri is an Iranian artist born in 1980 who lives and works in Iran in Tehran. Graphic designer, he very quickly chose to turn to new media and the mixture of techniques (photography, graphics, painting, collage). It is this diversity that will allow it to develop an identity unique visual. Mehdi will invent a style between Pop Art and Street Art creating works using the pictorial codes inherited from the street and of the iconographic history of Iran which he mixes with calligraphies Persians. His art carries raw, clear and refined messages; Its technique is its point of support for generating the characteristic contrasts of his work. By shaking up visual codes, he creates new harmonies which underline the deep link existing between the form and substance.
