” The “Nocturnes” collection was a temptation to face the black paint & color and its title was drawn from the nocturnes of Chopin, Whistler and Ahmad Shampoo! Before in a collection called “Ashes of Time”, I have examined very dark spaces in a painting; Spaces with much dimmed light among forgotten objects. But this time in the middle of the darkness, the light do not lit anything; Maybe nothing is left… Maybe nothing has shaped yet. ” Vahid Mohammadi
