Farhad Koohbor is an Iranian sculptor artist born in 1978, who worked extensively with Mohammad Mardi. It is attached to the mythology and the stories of humanity. His style is raw, simple, minimalist. The material and its treatment lead to a reflection on the very essence of our being.
Contemporary Sisyphus, cursed, as his mythical ancestor, ascends and goes ahead according to his perception. He toils and sweats and never ceases walking. With his eyes wide open, gazing at his footsteps, he is unable to comprehend the surrounding as a whole. He is eternally stuck in an endless Mobius.
